For years, I have posted blogs about the craft of writing, from nonfiction to fiction to the business of writing. I love sharing my experience and tips with writers of all kinds and skill levels. I will continue to do that, but in an expanded way.

We will be adding an opportunity to access more content and benefits by joining the Figments & Fables’ Patreon. It takes a lot of time, effort and resources to host Figments & Fables as it is. Your support will help it survive and continue to exist as it does now without the distraction of advertising or popups all while earning exclusive benefits for my patrons.
A Stronger Community
Patreon will allow Figments & Fables to create a community for writers who want to connect, work on their craft and have access to someone who has been making a living as a writer for more than two decades. The Figments & Fables Patreon account will include an exclusive Discord community, a live Q&A feature, and a host of other benefits, including short tips, critiques and one-on-one consultations with me, depending on patron level. Look for the launch of this exciting new community in January 2020.
eBooks
Figments & Fables will add ebooks to the site this year. I am finishing up the first ebook on Research for Writers and plan on adding several other titles over the coming year. If you have any ideas for topics, please post them below. Patrons will have the chance to vote on the order I write the books. These books will be available through ebook vendors with links from Figments & Fables for easy access. Look for the first titles in 2020.
Guides & Worksheets
I plan on adding a few free guidebooks and worksheets for my patrons too. These will be smaller in scale and complement existing blogs.
A Social Media Presence
I will be launching a Figments & Fables presence on Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn in early 2020 too. Look for me there and through links on the website.
The Goal
My goal is to forge a stronger community and get to know everyone who reads my blogs and to reach other writers who want to talk about the craft. Writing is my passion and profession. I want to build a place for writers to go when the words won’t flow for support and a place to celebrate when they do. Think of it as a support group with benefits.
