MY EXPERTISE
My entire writing career (spanning more than three decades) has been focused on storytelling. How to write stronger, tell better stories, and understanding why stories work in the brain and in our hearts. Why we fall for characters, get wrapped up in intrigue, and binge episodes to know how it ends.
That’s what I talk about in interviews and share during collaborations: the heart of story, the neuroscience of story, and the craft of writing.
That means I can speak confidently about: :
- Story structure and narrative logic
- The Neuroscience of story and how it affects writing
- Writing for connection and clarity
- Voice, rhythm, and emotional engagement
- Story across forms: page, screen, stage, and business
- Narrative breakdown and common mistakes
- And so much more
My background spans writing, producing, directing, research, editing, teaching, and coaching so my talks blend theory, craft, and experience. I’ve been fortunate to write in most forms: screenplays, scripts, speeches, books, articles, blogs, white papers, marketing, web copy, course work, and more.
