We are halfway through November, which means, if you are doing NaNoWriMo (writing a novel during the National Novel Writing Month of November), you should have at least 25,000 words on the page by now. How are you doing? Ahead of schedule? Behind? Hopelessly flailing or flying along?
No matter the answer, there is still time to make this happen. Two weeks. It is enough time to write thousands of words. You can do it.

That is always the hardest part—taking that first step on a new journey. Even when we know it will be good for us. Even when we want to begin, we often hesitate and postpone.
