Who I Help

There’s a lot of noise on the internet these days. People promising outstanding results with little to no effort, or a method for powering up productivity that borders on crazy anime levels.

I’m not like that.

My promises are more reasonable. I’ll teach you to write better stories and share your information in a way that makes sense to your audience and builds stronger connections.

But I am not for everyone.

Who I Help

I’m for people who want to:

  • tell a good story
  • write a moving novel
  • pen a winning screenplay
  • draft an engaging script for YouTube or their company
  • share their brand stories
  • reveal their personal stories in a memoir or documentary
  • inspire people with uplifting speeches or tales
  • share their knowledge in a nonfiction book or talk
  • write interesting articles or blogs

In short, I help storytellers and people who want to write.

But not just any writers.

I help those who look longingly at old typewriters, or who collect pens and journals. My people have a huge stash of pens and pencils in their desk. They have folders of unfinished stories and scenes on their laptop. They are always searching for their next idea.

They see stories everywhere they go and get inspired by the smallest gestures and details.

If they want to write for business, they are the ones who want to be entertaining and connect, not just throw facts around. They understand clients want to engage before they buy, that emotion comes before the sale.

What’s Not Me

If you are looking for someone to help you craft the perfect funnel or Facebook ad, I am not your person.

If you need to write technical instruction manuals, look elsewhere. I don’t write technical works.

And if you want someone to help with social media posts, there are better people, and I’d be happy to refer you to some of them.

Who I Am

I am an old-school writer who has spent over 30 years studying my craft and working in the field. I’ve written, edited, researched, produced, directed, published, taught, and coached. I’ve dug into why some stories work and others do not, and studied how to change tactics for deeper connections and better results.

I am firmly against using AI for writing and editing. Most research too, unless there are strict guardrails and best practices in place (which I will share with you).

My Ideal Client

My ideal client wants to tackle their writing from a foundational level and learn how to build stronger stories, speeches, scripts, and articles from the ground up. They don’t want to use shortcuts that may be faster, but are definitely not better.

These clients are curious and dedicated. My people get that a toolbox of skills will offer the flexibility to write whatever they need in the future.

If this sounds like you, let’s chat. I’d love to help you. You can reach out here.

If I’m not you, that’s okay. I won’t be for everyone.

I’m for those who believe stories are the most powerful tool we have to connect, engage, and change the world…or at least our little corner of it. And those dedicated enough to learn the skills required to succeed.
