I believe in stories, be they fairy tale or real. I believe in their power to shape our future and define our past. Stories are what make us human, after all. It is how we relate our histories and remember those we love.
Stories are how we relive our best and worst moments. They are why we have those crazy moments when we find ourselves trying to figure out how we are going to tell someone about what is happening to us, sometimes as it happens.
It is what makes social media happen. I went there today and ate that. You wouldn’t believe my nightmare date last night. I remember the time when….
We live on stories. They feed us. They inform us. We collect and share them along the way and in turn they make us who we are.
